Modern VFX are lightyears ahead of where they were 45 years ago in 1976 when ILM were working on the original Star Wars, and Corridor Crew are very aware of that, so the challenge at hand –  to recreate the iconic trench run and render it to be as it would if it was being made fresh today – is laced with a healthy amount of retro love.

Niko and the Crew decide to take a deep dive into old-school Star Wars VFX and recreate the famous trench run scene with modern CGi techniques.
