Daisy Ridley zombie thriller ‘We Bury the Dead’ finds UK home

We might now know when the much-mooted Rey movie (or trilogy) willl be arriving, or indeed when and where we’ll next be seeing the newest member of the Skywalker clan onscreen, but do know that Daisy Ridley’s zombie thriller We Bury The Dead will be released in the UK as Signature Entertainment have purchased the film for distributiuon after Vertical bought the rights for North America.

The survival thriller follows Ava, a desperate woman whose husband is missing in the aftermath of a catastrophic military experiment. Hoping to find him alive, Ava joins a “body retrieval unit,” but her search takes a chilling turn when the corpses she’s burying start showing signs of life. Alongside Ridley, the film star Brenton Thwaites (“Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales”), Mark Coles Smith (“Last Cab to Darwin”) and Matt Whelan (“Narcos”).
