Ewan McGregor’s ‘Doctor Sleep’ Hailed As Best King Movie Since Shawshank

The first reactions have been hitting the web for Ewan McGregor’s new film, ‘Doctor Sleep.’  The Stephen King adaptation, directed by Mike Flanagan hits cinemas on 31st October, and in America on the later date of November 8th.

The film is an adaptation of King’s 2013 novel of the same name, and is a sequel to “The Shining.”  It follows a grown-up Danny (Ewan McGregor) in his attempts to build a normal life in the shadow of everything that went down at the Overlook.
