Currently starring in Maxxxine, Giancarlo Esposito was asked on the red carpet about his work on The Mandalorian as Moff Gideon and touched on the possibility of a return for the cloned leader of the Shadow Council in the forthcoming The Mandalorian & Grogu, which if previous rumours hold true began shooting in June.

“Anything is possible. You know, I don’t know anything about that at the present, but I put out there that if they need me I’ll be there. I love what Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and Disney does with Mandalorian – and who knows? There may be a moment where I can swoop down and take over once again.”

Would you welcome a return for the Moff? Fantha Tracks were at this weekends Starfury: Invasion convention in Birmingham (review coming this week) and onstage Doctor Pershing actor Omid Abtahi expressed his own desire to return as the mind-wiped scientist. Could we see a reunion of these two ambitious Imperials? Let us know what you think on Fantha Tracks socials.
