The thought of a Star Wars film from the mind of Guillermo del Toro is certainly one to get the creative juices flowing, and speaking with the Happy Sad Confused podcast writer David Goyer revealed that he had written a script for a film that del Toro would have directed.

“I wrote an un-produced ‘Star Wars’ movie that Guillermo del Toro was going to direct. That was about four years ago,” Goyer said. “There was a lot of behind the scenes stuff going on at Lucasfilm at the time. It’s a cool script… you have to ask him about it. There is a lot of cool art work from it that was produced.”

Responding on Twitter, Del Toro had more to add.

“True. Can’t say much. Maybe two letters ‘J’ and ‘BB’ is that three letters?” The director’s post has led “Star Wars” fans to theorize on what these letters might mean. Was del Toro planning to use BB-8 in a movie? Jabba the Hutt? The possibilities are endless.

What does del Toro mean by ‘BB’ and ‘J’? We’ll certainly be chatting about this on a forthcoming episode of Making Tracks, which will land next Tuesday, and remember this evening will see the latest episode of Planet Leia arrive on Fantha Tracks Radio.
