It might seem incredible, but for lovers of all things Steven Spielberg and ILM, the current US box office top ten is pure heaven. Sitting at number one for the weekend is Jurassic Park, bringing in $517,642, just ahead of Jaws which is celebrating its 45th anniversary with a haul of $516,366 and E.T. in 7th position with $126,189. Even Indiana Jones gets a look in with Raiders of the Lost Ark in 18th with $69,047.

This weekend brought in $3.8 million compared to last years $200 million, but given the circumstances and the fact that almost all of that money came via drive-ins, it’s a safe, socially distanced way to enjoy some classics.

Other titles being offered up include Back to the Future, Footloose and The Goonies ahead of cinemas reopening in July.
