He’s appearing on BBC One’s The One Show right now, and earlier today he was a guest on This Morning over on ITV to discuss his role in The Life of Chuck, based on a short story by Stephen King alongside Tom Hiddlestone and Karen Gillan. Here he explains why the name Luke Skywalker didn’t exactly light him up (after a late change from the far more lethal souding Luke Starkiller).

It’s been almost 50 years since Mark Hamill first picked up a lightsaber as Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars, before going on to star in some of the biggest blockbusters in the world. But now, Mark is swapping a galaxy far, far away for his brilliant new film The Life of Chuck, an adaptation of a Stephen King story that traces one man’s life in reverse – from his death back to his childhood.
