Their initial meeting on Daiyu may not have been quite what Obi-Wan Kenobi expected, but in a broader sense, the first meeting of Leia Organa and Obi-Wan Kenobi was perfect, allowing us as viewers to watch their relationship and respect grow across the series until we’re left knowing that Ben thought every bit as highly of Leia as he did her twin brother Luke.
