Remembering Carrie Fisher on her 69th birthday

On this day back in 1956, Carrie Frances Fisher was born, and 69 years later and almost nine years since after she passed we remember her today. Her daughter Billie Lourd placed this reflective post on her Instagram feed earlier today, vocalising her disbelief that not only is it almost a decade since she passed, but that Carrie would only have been 69.

We’ll always miss her, as we do so many of our other departed heroes and villains.
