As The Force Awakens premieres tonight on ABC in the States, Episode VII returns to TV screens in the UK once again after its premier over the new year on ITV. Tonight it arrives on ITV2, pairing up with the film that for decades was the last ever chronological film, Episode VI Return of the Jedi, giving fans both hardcore and casual the chance to soak in the care and attention that J.J. Abrams brought to his first entry in the sequel trilogy, matching camera lenses and lighting rigs to capture that OT feel as faithfully as he could. (spoiler alert, he succeeded).

First off we have Return of the Jedi at 3.40pm.

Then time to put the kettle on, grab a few snacks and be back for 6.20pm and The Force Awakens.
