Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Extended Edition soundtrack, available on digital platforms now

Music lovers, get ready – available right now on your digital streaming platform of choice comes the Extended Edition of 2016’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story by Michael Giacchino, perfectly timed now we are in the fifth year of its release.

Walt Disney Records will release a new soundtrack album for Lucasfilm’s 2016 feature Rogue One: A Star Wars Story directed by Gareth Edwards and starring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Jiang Wen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed and Forest Whitaker.

The album features the film’s expanded original score composed by Academy Award winner Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, Jurassic World, Spider-Man: No Way Home, The Incredibles, Star Trek, Ratatouille, War for the Planet of the Apes, Doctor Strange), as well as six alternate cues. John Williams has composed the original Star Wars music used in Giacchino’s score.

The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, February 11 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms (including Amazon).

The label’s original 21-track soundtrack album was released at the time of the movie’s theatrical opening in 2016. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is now available to stream on Disney+ and is also available to purchase on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
