Speaking on SiriusXM, director Ron Howard broached the evergreen topic of a sequel to the awesome Solo: A Star Wars Story, a topic that seems to rise up every few weeks as further rumours surface, be it on the big screen or Disney Plus.

“Well, there’s no sequel planned now and it’s amazing to be a part of a Star Wars movie that seems to be a kind of underground hit, which is not what you’d expect, but that’s been an odd, strange journey for that movie,”

Of course, Howard is hardly likely to announce a Solo sequel during a radio Q&A so stay tuned as Tuesday’s shareholders call approaches, potentially bringing with it further news.
