Rosario Dawson is set to appear in Young Rock, the new NBC show due to premiere 16th February on NBC which tells the fictional story of a young Dwayne Johnson at various stages of his life alongside the card trick master, Agent Woo from Ant-Man and WandaVision Randall Park.

The upcoming show tells the story of the Jumanji star’s upbringing, with specific chapters centring on his 10-year-old, 15-year-old and 20-year-old self. While Johnson will narrate those episodes, he’ll also star as a fictional, future version of himself who is running for president in 2032.

Dawson, who was most recently seen as Ahsoka Tano in Star Wars spin-off The Mandalorian is set to play “confident and steadfast” army general Monica Jackson, while Park (Ant-Man and the Wasp, WandaVision) will be portraying himself, having ditched his acting career to focus on journalism.
