Familiar much? Ahead of its 2027 release, the gang behind Spaceballs 2 have released this image of the table read (including Pizza the Hut who even gets his own chair) and mimicking the table read photo for The Force Awakens over a decade ago.

In case you never saw or don’t remember, here’s the infamous table read photo from over a decade ago as the cast of The Force Awakens first sat down to read through the script of Episode VII.

We recently had the chanced to chat with two of the writers of Spaceballs 2, Dan Hernandez and Benji Safit, the team who also wrote LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past, which you can watch below.
