Star Wars: Visions ranks 5th amongst digital originals this week

For a show that for many non-Star Wars followers would have been a surprise, the 9 episode Star Wars: Visions has done exceedingly well in the digital originals charts, landing at number 5 one place ahead of The Mandalorian, the only two Disney Plus series currently in the top 10.

Disney+’s Star Wars: Visions had the highest surge in demand (56%) this week following its release on September 22. The animated series received good reviews before its official launch, which had a lot of fans anticipating its release. The show is 33.1 times more in-demand than the average series in the US this week, and it will be interesting to see if the longevity of the series matches that of the other Star Wars shows.
