No official confirmation as yet, but the Above The Line podcast are claiming that Dafne Keen, best known for her roles in Logan and His Dark Materials, has been cast in The Acolyte, which began filming a few days ago in the UK. Jeff Sneider had this to say on the topic on the podcast
“Dafne Keen who played X-23 in Logan is going to be joining The Acolyte. Don’t have any official confirmation on that yet. I expect there to be in the next couple weeks maybe.”
Keen potentially joins series lead Amandla Stenberg, Jodie Turner-Smith, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto and Charlie Barnett but as ever, until it’s confirmed by Lucasfilm it’s just a juicy casting rumour. That said, any production would be enhanced by the presence of such a talented actress, so fingers crossed.
