With all 9 Skywalker Saga films coming to North American screens on 3rd May, the showings of The Phantom Menace will also include an exclusive preview of The Acolyte, giving cinemagoers a sneek peek of what should be one of the television events of the year.

Start your podracer engines! Star Wars: The Phantom Menace celebrates 25 years with a return to cinemas on May 3, and tickets are on sale now — available everywhere tickets are sold.

In addition to battle droids, podracers, Jar Jar, Darth Maul, and all of the Episode I goodness, fans will also be treated to an exclusive look at The Acolyte, the upcoming Disney+ series, as part of The Phantom Menace screenings.

Also in celebration of the 25th anniversary of The Phantom Menace, fans will have the chance to experience the entire Skywalker Saga in theaters this May the 4th, also known as Star Wars Day. Tickets are also on sale now, and you can visit Fandango.com for more information.

To coincide with the rerelease of The Phantom Menace, artist Matt Ferguson has created a beautiful new poster, which you can see here.

Theaters are now advertising this special screening, including Galaxy Theaters and the legendary Alamo Drafthouse.

To acknowledge this addition to the Episode I screenings, the poster by Matt Ferguson has been subtly tweaked, and speaking of Matt he joined us on this weeks episode of Canon Fodder to discuss his work on Star Wars posters and his own fandom, which you can listen to below.
