With other, smaller budget films breaking records and making headlines, and a new Steven Spielberg film in the cinemas, it’s a tough marketplace right now for The Mandalorian and Grogu, and while the weekend figures are yet to be fully collated, the movie now has a new worldwide total – $315,072,355, which means it’s only added around $22m globally this week. In the States, where it now has $165,072,355, the total follows a 70% drop in week two, a 59% drop in week 3, and a 53% drop in week 4. At this rate, the film will do well to reach $325 – $330m globally before it heads to Disney Plus. It’s undoubtedly worrying that the film appears to have run out of steam at the box office, something we’ll discuss on Fantha Tracks Radio during the week.

The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin and his young apprentice Grogu.
