Welcome to Fantha Tracks complete guide to The Mandalorian. Here we will post every reference, Easter egg, everything named and unnamed per episode and some fun trivia in-between. If you are keen to avoid spoilers, move along…
Official summary: The battered Mandalorian returns to his client for reward.
Familiar Faces: With the Mandalorian returning to the unnamed volcanic world, we see many of the faces from the first episode again also. But thanks to it being a much clearer day, and thanks to better lightning in the bar, many of them are seen much better this time around. Highlights include: an unnamed blue alien in a yellow jumpsuit, the Twi’lek lady, a Keteerian, the short individual with red helmet, a yellow skinned alien with a beard and horns who at a glance may resemble a Devorian but is vastly different if you start to compare them, a badger-looking alien, Zabraks and a new bug-eyed droid.
Doctor Pershing (played by Omid Abtahi) wears a Kamino clone badge on his arm. What this ultimately means remains to be seen.
“Take both commission and payment for a bounty and forget the events that has happened” is a new Code of the Guild, or Bounty Hunter’s Code, as the unofficial rules that every bounty hunter must adhere to.
Trivia: Willrow Hood’s ice cream machine is now known as a camtono. The word comes from a viral video in which a little girl could not say “ice cream” and said “camtono” instead.
Whistling birds are a new type of weapon and during the flashback of the Mandalorian we see a B2 super battle droid and a HMP (Heavy Missile Platform) droid gunship.
The well-known Huttese insult E chu ta! Can be heard in the cantina.
The astromech pilot droid of the hoversled that the Mando uses for cover appears to be a cross between a R5 (general shape of the head, but not entirely a match) and a R2 (eyes).
The end credits reveal a new name! Paz Vizla as played by Tait Fletcher. Fletcher played in episode 1 a thrawler on the snow planet and considering his physique is for sure the burly Mandalorian that the subtitles lists as ‘Heavy Infantry’. Of course the name Vizla, or correctly spelled Vizsla, brings to mind the character Pre Vizsla from The Clone Wars, who was Jon Favreau’s first involvement with Star Wars.
