The Mandalorian: Was IG-11 the hero?

It’s a fair point to make – if you’ve seen the show that is, if not then steer clear – that IG-11 was arguably the most heroic, selfless character in the whole of season one of The Mandalorian. Taika Waititi agree, and gives his opinion on his metallic alter ego.

“I feel we just need to start a petition because I think that character, really, he held up the entire season, didn’t he? From episode one all the way through, he was the hero.”

With season 2 in progress, arriving later this year and Taika a part of the PaleyFest activities next month, perhaps we will be seeing more of this already iconic bounty hunter / babysitter in the second season.
