The Trailer For David Oyelowo’s Latest Project Les Misérables Has Been Released

Voice of Kallus in Star Wars: Rebels, David Oyelowo, has seen his latest project Les Misérables release it’s first trailer.  The upcoming BBC (UK) and PBS (America) six-part drama has an all star cast, and will be released over the Christmas calendar – check your local listings.

The series is produced by BBC Studios and Lookout Point, and penned by Midlands writer Andrew Davies.

Davies, who lives in Kenilworth, is known for his work writing Bridget Jones Diary and adapting many classic books for TV including Middlemarch (1994), Pride and Prejudice (1995), Bleak House (2005) and War & Peace (2016) – so we can be assured it’s going to be brilliant.

The BBC said: “The six-part television adaptation of the renowned book will vividly and faithfully bring to life the vibrant and engaging characters, the spectacular and authentic imagery and, above all, the incredible yet accessible story that was Hugo’s lifework.”

Les Misérables will air on BBC One over the Christmas period.
