The Electronic Entertainment Expo – better known as E3 – due to take place June 2022 has been shifted as a precautionary measure thanks largely to the escalating issue of the Omicron virus, which threatens to do the same to other major events during the convention calendar. The Entertainment Software Association sent this statement to IGN to clarify the latest state of play.

“Due to the ongoing health risks surrounding COVID-19 and its potential impact on the safety of exhibitors and attendees, E3 will not be held in person in 2022. We remain incredibly excited about the future of E3 and look forward to announcing more details soon.”

E3 is a hotbed of information regarding not only general gaming but Star Wars gaming and whether it’s in-person or online only, we’ll bring that news to you right here on Fantha Tracks.
