The latest issue of Blocks magazine arrives 7th October and brings closer looks at LEGO Queer Eye, Marvel and a few months down the line at Christmas sets.

Blocks magazine Issue 84 gets LEGO make over advice from Matthew Ashton and Bobby Berk in an exclusive interview, before checking out the latest Marvel releases including the Collectible Minifigures.

Issue 84 is available worldwide as a single issue or as part of a subscription at www.blocksmag.com

and will be in UK stores from October 7. Subscribe today to be in with a chance of winning one of three 21329 Fender Stratocaster sets!

LEGO 10291 Queer Eye – The Fab 5 Loft is something fresh in the range, so Blocks magazine speaks to LEGO Vice President of Design Matthew Ashton to get the full story of how it came to be, illustrated with minifigure development art. Bobby Berk, the Fab Five’s interior design guru, drops in to talk about his collaboration with Matthew.

There are a selection of LEGO Marvel reviews this month, including the Collectible Minifigures and 76193 The Guardians’ Ship. Do they deliver? Which sets should you buy? What’s wrong with 76201 Captain Carter & The Hydra Stomper?

Other reviews include 10290 Pickup Truck, 21329 Fender Stratocaster, 10291 Queer Eye – The Fab Five Loft and 10284 Camp Nou. Barcelona’s stadium also gets a guided tour from Design Specialist Rok Zgalin Kobe, who brought his Architecture know-how to the famous grounds.

There’s even more design insight this month, as Chris McVeigh reveals how he got into the Christmas spirit to come up with 10295 Santa’s Visit, this year’s set in the Winter Village series.

Nostalgic for airports and easy international travel? Blockstalgia heads back to Town and admires those amazing, baseplate heavy airports, before providing a step-by-step guide to building a modern version of 6536 Aero Hawk.

There’s plenty more besides in Blocks magazine’s 116 pages, including a guide to building minifigure scale sound systems, an investigation into clutch power, the 10 largest ever LEGO sets, tips on photographing minifigures on skis, everything you need to know about colour change sets and much, much more.

Blocks is giving away three 21329 Fender Stratocaster sets this month! To be entered into the latest prize draw and to get Blocks magazine delivered every month – ahead of the shops – visit www.blocksmag.com and check out the money-saving subscription deals available.
