The 136th edition of Blocks magazine lands in UK stores on 6th February 2026 and as always it’s packed with the latest news, reviews and interviews. This month the team look at Star Wars 75440 AT-AT, 42221 NASA Artemis Space Launch System Rocket and how it was created, and fan builds in LEGO House Masterpiece Gallery. All that and more in the latest edition of Blocks magazine.

We could be days away from the launch of Orion and the Artemis II mission – and Blocks is ready with a feature on 42221 NASA Artemis Space Launch System Rocket! Experienced Model Designer Olav Krøjgaard explains how he approached the challenging model.

Issue 136 is available to order worldwide as part of a subscription or as a single issue at blocksmag.com and will be in UK stores from February 6.

Blocks subscriptions are better value than ever – a one-year print subscription in the UK is just £64.90, for a saving of £52.10. If you take one out this week, you’ll get a FREE LEGO Artemis poster!

If you take out a two-year print subscription, we’ll also throw in a FREE minifigure!

Every month there’s a prize to win for subscribers – and Blocks is giving away 42221 NASA Artemis Space Launch System Rocket! To be in with a chance of winning, take out a subscription before March 5, 2025.

This month, Model Designer Olav Krøjgaard talks through the process of crafting 42221 NASA Artemis Space Launch System Rocket, the epic new set that brings functionality back to Technic.

In Build & Chat, Design Master Yoel Mazur reveals the secrets of element design. He talks about his journey to the LEGO Group (there’s some great tips for anyone who has dreamed of working there) and reveals how working on concept models has helped his process for designing pieces.

The best LEGO models come from the fan community and some of the finest builders get the honour of exhibiting in LEGO House Masterpiece Gallery – a special feature spotlights some of the beautiful displays with insights from the creatives behind them.

Many of those builds could be considered art – and this month’s spotlight MOCs definitely fall into that category. Jerac shares a series of abstract creations that hang on the wall like paintings. He reveals his process in an interview, then Blocks breaks down some of the best techniques in the builds.

If that inspires you to build something, you can follow the steps in one of this month’s Quick Builds – a Demogorgon from Stranger Things, Batman’s iconic symbol, a tiny DeLorean from Back to the Future and a modern take on 6018 Battle Dragon from Castle.

As for Reviews, you can find out what the Blocks team makes of 11370 Stranger Things: The Creel House, Marvel 76343 Epic Battle: Hulkbuster vs. The Hulk, Star Wars 75440 AT-AT, Icons 10366 Tropical Aquarium, Speed Champions 77256 Time Machine from Back to the Future and much more.

Blocks is a premium magazine and Issue 136’s 116 pages also feature the top 10 video game inspired sets, characterful Disney builds, everything you need to know about LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight and much more.
