The latest edition of Blocks is here, celebrating the 20th anniversary of Star Wars LEGO.
With the long-running collaboration reaching a significant milestone this year, Blocks magazine looks back at two decades of the theme with the help of the LEGO Star Wars Design Director.
This special commemorative issue of Blocks magazine celebrates 20 years of LEGO Star Wars, with a feature picking out the theme’s key milestones since 1999, from the very first sets to the retro boxed anniversary editions. Design Director Jens Kronvold Frederiksen speaks to Blocks about the earliest days of the theme, in the first part of an epic interview that sees the prolific designer reflect on his LEGO Star Wars career.
Star Wars continues into the Reviews section, where the latest releases get a close inspection worthy of the Empire. Some of the upmarket LEGO releases get attention this month too, including the Creator Expert Ford Mustang and Architecture skyline sets.
