Filmmaker J.J. Abrams reunites with visual effects supervisor Roger Guyett, special effects supervisor Dominic Tuohy, creature and special makeup effects designer Neal Scanlan and artisans at ILM and other visual effects houses to conjure new and familiar corners of the galaxy.

Walt Disney Pictures launches its premiere streaming service with Season 1 of The Mandalorian, created by Jon Favreau. The production employed a new filming technique that will send shockwaves through the film industry — and you will read all about it in Cinefex.
