Visitors to Fantha Tracks will be very familiar not only with Star Wars fan Fun Day, but also how much we enjoy and appreciate this family friendly, galaxy-focused annual event, preceeded as it is by the always enjoyable Dinner With The Star Wars Stars. A huge part of the event is the fund raising, which benefits a number of charities, with much of the money raised going to East Lancashire Hospice, and not only have organisers Neil Livesey and Paul Dunne handed over a 2026 cheque for £12,011.25, but that now takes the total amount raised specifically for the hospice by SWFFD since the very first show back in 2008 to an amazing £100,000.
The SWFFD has raised over £100,000 since it first began in 2008.
Jackie Morris from East Lancashire Hospice hailed the figure as an amazing achievement.
Organisers Neil Livesey and Paul Dunne are pictured with patients celebrating the grand total
Incredible work from stand-up people who not only love the saga but have made it their mission to make a difference to their community. Be sure to check back tomorrow for a special SWFFD episode of Making Tracks, where we not only chat with three guests from Andor, but also to Neil Livesey about this amazing fundraising effort and the show itself.
