Readers of Rae Carson’s excellent novelisation of The Rise of Skywalker may well be aware of the scene between Kylo Ren and Chewbacca after the mighty wookiee has been captured on Pasaana and taken up to his flagship the Steadfast, but that scene never made it into the film.

Now, with the Finnish release of Joonas Suotamo’s book Roar! My Life As A Wookiee, his onset stories are revealed and in this thread from Tähtien Jatkosota we get to read some English translations of those stories, including his recollections of that intense torture scene.

To get the book, click here for the publishers page, and fingers crossed it eventually gets an English language translation.
