Mark Newbold: I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from BossJackets Star Wars jackets, but browsing through the options and choices, the one that really caught my eye was the Han Solo leather jacket from Solo: A Star Wars Story.
After being measured up (a VERY cool option to ensure the jacket fits perfectly) I was thrilled – genuinely thrilled – to discover how well it fit and how good it looked.
So good in fact, I wore it out to a family get together and no one realised it was a Star Wars jacket until I pointed it out and showed them a photo of the ‘real’ thing.
As a consequence, I’m wearing this as often as I can, and while it was never designed to have loads of pockets (there are meant to be no zips in Star Wars after all, and the press-studs on the jacket cover the zip very well) it’s comfortable, stylish and going to be seeing a lot of action over the years.
Very impressed, and I’d certainly recommend them.

Matt Booker: Browsing through the wide range of Star Wars jackets on offer, I opted to go for the Han Solo Parka Jacket from The Empire Strikes Back. Perhaps one of the most discussed jackets in the franchise due to arguments over the colours between the movie, and toys over the years.
For me the colour was a little too purple and not brown enough – and it will continue the fandom debate over quite what shade and colour the jacket should be!
I thought that the grey sleeves should have had attach points, or be sown to the sleeves of the jacket for a more defined look, and the furry hood wasn’t a complete match to the onscreen version. So for cosplay purists, who want precise and exact screen replicas this isn’t the jacket for them.
However, for Star Wars fans looking for a fantastic winter coat with a Star Wars theme that doesn’t stand out too far from the norm – this is an incredibly warm, winter jacket and will be getting plenty of use this holiday season.

Brian Cameron: With the upcoming Disney+ series coming in 2022, I had to go to for the Cassian Andor jacket from Rogue One.
I was really pleased with the jacket. As a bigger guy it is near impossible to get comfortable, well-fitted jackets in this type of material that suits my body type. Providing custom measurements, and getting the jacket made to my exact sizes meant that the fit and feel was incredible.
I loved the design of the ribbed materials down the arms, and the classic Rebel Alliance badges look really nice too. The jacket is a nice balance between screen accurate, cosplay and day to day practical use. I can see myself wearing the jacket day to day, but am most excited to wear it to Star Wars Celebration in 2022.
At $156 for a custom made jacket, from a movie franchise I love, and in such good quality I thought it was a fantastic buy. I will absolutely go back for more from BossJackets, not just from Star Wars but from their wider bomber jacket range.
