With the first trailer for the forthcoming Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire due to arrive last week at San Diego Comic Con but postponed due to the ongoing Writers Strike, Godzilla Movie and KDM reveal that ILM have joined an already prodigious list of VFX houses to bring home the movie, now in its post production phase. ILM previously worked in the MonsterVerse on Kong: Skull Island while Godzilla, the first film in the series, was directed by Rogue One‘s Gareth Edwards.

In addition to the talented teams at Weta, Adam Wingard’s Godzilla vs. Kong sequel – Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire will also benefit from having effects work provided by the visual effects teams at ILM and Digital Domain! The film is currently in post-production.

The VFX companies currently working on Godzilla x Kong include: Weta, ILM, Digital Domain, DNEG, Scaline FX, Belo FX, Rodeo FX, Hybride and Outpost FX.
