It’s a tale as old as time – Star Wars vs Star Trek, and while that may seem quaint in these days there’s long been the capacity and desire to mash the two things together, especially given the numerous overlaps between the creatives on the two franchises. Here, Norm from Tested heads to WonderFest modelmaking convention to see some ingenious mash-ups.

This year’s modelmaking mash-up challenge at the WonderFest scale modelmaking convention asked builders to imagine if Star Trek’s Galileo shuttlecraft existed in other pop culture franchises, and the entries did not disappoint! From Star Wars shuttle hybrids to fantastical designs inspired by Ghostbusters, Battlestar: Galactica, and even Jaws, here are some of our favorites from the show!
