From the wonderfully talented folks at Regal Robot and the palace of Jabba the Hutt circa 1983, a look at their new Star Wars Archive Collection: Ephant Mon maquette replica, available in both Signature ($899, limited to 83 pieces) and Legacy ($1199, limited to 45 pieces) Editions, available to reserve on Tuesday 24th June at noon eastern.

Our Archive Collection’s newest replica is Phil Tippett’s Concept Maquette for Ephant Mon. The large concept sculpture from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi™ is part of our Star Wars™ Archive Collection, a continuation and expansion of our work creating authentic replicas with impeccable lineage.

Available in two editions!

The Signature Edition of just 83 pieces includes a plaque signed by ILM veteran and legendary creature maker, Phil Tippett, who sculpted and fabricated this scaled concept for the Ephant Mon character that was eventually built full scale for the film.

The extremely limited Legacy Edition of just 45 pieces goes beyond a signature edition to provide each owner with a truly unique work-of-art. Each maquette in this Legacy Edition will include a premium expanded plaque including a one-of-a-kind pencil illustration of the creature, hand-drawn by Tippett.

This substantial maquette is a look inside the mind of Tippett and his incredible style of creature design. For this piece, Phil told us he drew inspiration from the extinct species, Platybelodon. With hands-on access to the original film artifact and high resolution 3D scanning, our team crafted a faithful recreation of this early concept for the classic character.

At approximately 13.25″ tall (including the wood display base), each sizable resin maquette features added details like coarse, hand-applied hair and an extensively aged fabric cloak. 100% made in the U.S.A., every replica in this edition is meticulously hand painted by the artists in our New York studio, making each a unique tribute to the artistry involved behind the scenes of our favorite films!

Best of all, our artists are already working on the first waves of production of these replicas and we expect paid-in-full orders to ship within just a few weeks!

Do not miss this extraordinary opportunity to bring home not just an authentic replica, scanned from the original artifact, but also an original work of art with a direct connection to the artists that inspire us!

The Signature Edition is priced at $899 and the Legacy Edition $1199. Take advantage of our Special up-to-6-Month Payment Plan (with adjustable down payment and term options)
