Take a look at the incredible storyboards crafted by Joe Johnston for the speeder bike chase, a centrepiece sequence from Return of the Jedi that not only featured heavily in the making of documentaries of the time, but also advanced visual effects by leaps and bounds, delivering a film that due to its complexity and innovation, simply couldn’t have been attempted even a year earlier.
