Ian Failes, author of the wonderful Industrial Light & Magic: 50 Years of Innovation brings us his latest podcast, a new series that will feature many of the subjects of his new book, kicking off with the man who holds the record for the most Academy Awards held by a living person with 9, Dennis Muren.

Today at befores & afters, we’re launching into a special 10 episode series with Industrial Light & Magic as part of the release of the new book. For the first episode, Ian Failes sits down with senior visual effects supervisor Dennis Muren, a multiple VFX Oscar winner and someone who has worked on some of the most influential visual effects films in history – from the original Star Wars saga, to E.T., Terminator 2 and Jurassic Park.
