30th April – 3rd May 2026 is the date, DoubleTree by Hilton in Marietta is the venue, The Georgia Alliance of Star Wars Collectors are your hosts and Rogue Fun II: Fun and Villainy is the event, which will bring collectors from around the world together for a long weekend of collecting fun and much more. That includes panels, and today the team have announced their fourth panel, ‘Rebels With The Plans‘ as Kenner designers discuss the classic toys.

Step inside the legendary halls of Kenner as Howard Bolinger, Tim Effler, and Alton Takeyasu reveal the true power behind the Force. Discover the untold stories of some of the world’s most iconic toy lines and what work was like at Kenner. Come hear the stories that defined a generation of play.

Howard Bollinger is a retired Senior Vice President of Product Concepts at Kenner/Hasbro Toys with more than 30 years of experience at Kenner. Bollinger’s list of hit toys lines he worked on include Star Wars, Care Bears, Ghostbusters, Jurassic Park, M.A.S.K., Strawberry Shortcake, Littlest Pet Shop, and Batman.

Tim Effler has been in the creative development business for over 45 years. As Director of Product Concepts at Kenner, he contributed to many of their most successful lines including The Six Million Dollar Man, Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Ghost Busters, Nerf and the Jurassic Park toy lines.

Alton Takeyasu worked for Kenner from 1984 to 1991 and was a lead creative designer on Ghostbusters, SliverHawks, RoboCop, Beetlejuice and more. Alton joined Mattel in 1991 where he became Director of Design for action figures and later for Hot Wheels. He assumed creative responsibility for all licensed entertainment-based properties and internally developed intellectual properties produced by Mattel. He was also involved in the design of various full-sized Hot Wheels cars as well as various lines of action figures before retiring in 2024. He was inducted into the Model Car Hall of Fame in 2019.
