Huge congratulations to the teams who worked on Andor: A Star Wars Story, including the ILM visual effects team, the Special Effects department and the creature shop led by Neal Scanlan, for their win tonight in the Special, Visual & Graphic Effects category at the 2026 BAFTA TV Craft Awards. It’s yet another high-profile awards win for a show which has not only changed the game and raised the watermark for Star Wars live action presentations, but also crossed the line into the mainstream, seeing the show nominated and winning a wide variety of other drama and sci-fi shows.

Lucasfilm’s vice president of visual effects TJ Falls accepted alongside fellow winners, including production visual effects supervisor Mohen Leo and ILM visual effects supervisor Scott Pritchard. Along with ILM as a whole, the other individual recipients included special effects supervisor Luke Murphy, creature and droid effects supervisor Neal Scanlan, and senior digital colorist Jean-Clément Soret.

Luke Murphy, Mohen Leo, Neal Scanlan, Jean-Clement Soret, Andor (WINNER)
