Star Wars is Everywhere #15 – Meet the Real Life Jabba

In part #15 of Star Wars is Everywhere we have a real world reference from the world of science and biology, where we have a kind of Worm now christened with the name of our famous Star Wars Gangster.

Jabba the Hutt finally made his way to the real world in one of the 14 new species of newly named Zombie Worms. This little friend is Osedax jabba and lives in the Deep Ocean.

It was found on the head of a dead whale at 10,000 feet deep in the Monterey Submarine Canyon.
