We could already take a pretty good stab at where Solo: A Star Wars Story fits in the timeline, but when those guesses are confirmed by Leland Chee – the ‘Keeper of the Holocron’ – then that makes for a good day.
In a reply on Twitter to our friend Jenmarie @acrossthestars and Marco Loreto @marcoloreto Leland planted that flag.
All of Solo takes place 13 to 10 years before ANH. Rebels starts 5 years befor ANH.

So now we know where it sits we can see that there are plenty of opportunities for further book series, comics and – fingers crossed – films to explore the underside of the galaxy.
