As an actor who has appeared in pretty much every major franchise of note, Sam Jackson makes no bones about letting people (casting agents) know which projects he’s  keen to be in. He let the world know he was up for a Star Wars role back in ’96 when he appeared on TFI Friday with Chris Evans, and now during an interview with JOE he once again laid it all out, making it clear he’d be interested in a Windu return.

“I’m that guy. All they got to do is call.”

It’s been long discussed, the fact that we never saw the dead body of Mace Windu, and if any Jedi – even one without a hand and heavily damaged after a battle with a sith lord – could survive, it’s Mace. Remember, Anakin was present when two Jedi lost their hands and were thrown from great heights.

Luke survived his Bespin fall – why not Mace?
