As much as we encourage change and innovation, at heart many of us are creatures of habit, so when the new lottery system was announced for Celebration Chicago last week there was some concern regarding how it would work.

Reed and Lucasfilm have listened and expanded the Celebration website to more clearly describe the processes and requirements to get into the lottery and make reservations via  Lightspeed, sponsored by ThinkGeek.

Star Wars Celebration Chicago is excited to officially announce the new LIGHTSPEED Virtual Panel Reservations and LIGHTSPEED Lane Virtual Queuing powered by ThinkGeek, which will eliminate the need for overnight queuing and give fans the opportunity to see the panels they want and shop the Celebration Store with less time in lines and more time enjoying Celebration.

There are in-depth details on advance panel lotteries, exhibitor exclusive lotteries, Lightspeed virtual panel reservations and Lightspeed virtual lane queuing.
