Sad news arrives from our friends at Elite Signatures and Imperial Signings that Penny McCarthy – a Cantina Band Member and a Jawa in A New Hope – has passed away. Penny was also a production assistant and assistant auditor who also hand doubled for Carrie Fisher in A New Hope.

Buried under mounds of make-up, Penny also played the demonic looking Kardue’sai’Malloc in A New Hope.

Our condolences to her family, friends and colleagues.
