The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art opens on 22nd September and ahead of what is certain to be an incredible day, the museum post this video, showing the first mural being installed, viewed by none other than Mellody Hobson, co-founder of the museum.

This powerful mural shot by JR depicting the California-Mexico border wall is officially hanging in the Lucas Museum. You can see this incredible piece in person when we open our doors September 22, 2026.

P.S. watch until the end for a cameo from our co-founder Mellody Hobson.
