Fantha Tracks will be covering all the Star Wars related news from the Disney Investor Day 2020, which kicks off at 9.30pm UK time tonight, and this is where you’ll find it. This page will regularly updated with the latest news, along with our social network feeds and we’ll be sure to discuss the fallout on Good Morning Tatooine this coming Sunday night at 9.00pm UK time and on the 67th studio episode of Making Tracks (the 99th Making Tracks episode) next Tuesday.

The Walt Disney Company will webcast its Investor Day 2020 on December 10, 2020. The event, focused on the Company’s direct-to-consumer streaming services, is scheduled to begin at approximately 4:30 p.m. ET / 1:30 p.m. PT. The Investor Day is expected to last approximately four hours.

This means films like Logan and series like Legion will appear as part of the Marvel tile, behind secure parental controls so you see what you want your family to see.

  • New shows: The Rangers of the New Republic and Ahsoka series for Disney Plus under Favreau and Filoni.

  • Coming 2022 under Tony Gilroy – Andor. Starring Stellan Skarsgard, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, and Genevieve O’Reilly, started filming 2 weeks ago, with Neal Scanlan heading the Creature Department.

  • Obi-Wan Kenobi, production starts March 2021, with Hayden Christensen returning as Darth Vader.

  • Now animation – The Bad Batch trailer, and announcing Star Wars Visions, 10 shorts from Japanese animation studios.
  • Event series – Lando, from Justin Simien.

  • Leslye Headland series The Acolyte, showing the final days of The High Republic and the rise of the sith.
