Tomorrow, Fantha Tracks are heading down to London to take a closer look at this incredible piece, the original lightsaber hilt used by Darth Vader in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, and here Adam Savage gets his hands on this incredible piece of movie history ahead of the Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction: Los Angeles Summer 2025 which takes place 4th – 6th September.

Adam Savage gets to meet one of the holy grails of Star Wars props: an original hero lightsaber that Darth Vader used in his duels for both The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi! Propstore’s Brandon Alinger shows Adam the unique build characteristics of this prop, as the two discuss the differences between the various saber hilts created and used for the original Star Wars trilogy.
