With the second and final season of Andor arriving on 22nd April 2025, there’s always the possibility that as we see Cassian arrive at the Ring of Kafrene to meet with Tivik, we also see how Jyn Erso got incarcerated on Wobani before her liberation by Melchi and K-2SO, and speaking with ScreenRant ahead of the release of her new film The Brutalist, Felicity Jones was very clear to state how she feels her time with Jyn Erso isn’t finished yet.
“Never. We’ll never say goodbye to her. She will live on, she’ll live on. I mean, never say never. She’s a pretty badass character. Maybe she could come back as a hologram or something, which is completely possible in the Star Wars universe.”
Like Cassian, we know that Jyn’s story ends on the shores of Scarif as the single reactor ignition blast of the Death Star destroys the Imperial Center of Military Research, but like Cassian we also know she led a life in hiding and on the run leading up to Rogue One. Could there be potential for a Disney Plus series detailing those events that in her case led to Imperial Detention Center & Labor Camp LEG-817 on Wobani? Let us know what you think by emailing radio@fanthatracks.com, leaving a voicemail message or question and we’ll discuss it on a future episode of Making Tracks or Good Morning Tatooine.
