Asked recently about any future projects that might bring actor Jason Isaacs back to the Star Wars galaxy after his one-season turn as the Inquisitor in the debut season of Star Wars Rebels, the ever-busy actor made it abundantly clear that discussions pertaining to the galaxy far, far away were well and truly off the table.

“I can’t even acknowledge the existence of Lucasfilm as a real entity. I’ve signed so many NDAs. Even having this conversation with you now I have to come round and cut your tongue out while you’re sleeping. I apologize.”

When playfully pressed, Isaacs continued to hold firm.

“There are no hypotheticals. This conversation is to be entirely avoided.”

So there you go, make of that what you will – either Jason Isaacs is being incredibly coy, he’s spotted the sniper in the rooftops or there’s a possible return on the cards. Either way, he’s not talking.
