So, the million credit question: would Liam Neeson relish a return to the character of Qui-Gon Jinn in a future Star Wars project? It would appear so…providing that appearance was on the big screen.

Bear in mind, with Obi-Wan Kenobi just around the corner and his recent appearance in season 3 of Derry Girls which co-stars General Dodonna actor Ian McElhinney, he could be (to steal a phrase from The Last Jedi) ‘tooling’ with us. Only time will tell, but clearly he is open to the idea of a return of some sort.
