The first store is Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, where 10 models of lightsabers based on the Star Wars canonical sabers will be sold. The second store, Savi’s Workshop, is where you can assemble your model.
Of the canonical models, there are Luke, Ahsoka Tano, Darth Vader, Darth Maul and Mace Windu sabers, among others and all come in a very stylish box.
Some will have additional accessories to make them look even more like the real ones, like the Kylo Ren which comes with the side blades. It will be a unique experience inside the park.
The first step is to enter the “building chamber” at Savi’s Workshop, and to get in there you will need to choose from the four kits available. There are sets focused on the Jedi, the Sith, Elemental Nature, and a mysterious call of Protection and Defense. Once inside the chamber, the Guardians will arrive and offer you three options of Kyber Crystal to the core of your saber.
The crystals are random. You will know the colour, but not the shape and type of crystal until it opens. Once chosen, you will insert it into a holocron, where an iconic character from the Star Wars world will appear to you.
After that, the Guardians will help you assemble your custom blade. The sabers will work with AA or AAA batteries and weight will depend on what you put in your hilt. There will still be accessories to complement, such as cases to store and things you can put your saber in the belt.
We do not know the price yet, but cheap it is not going to be. The stores will be available in both parks, California and Orlando.
