The Last Jedi commemorative bank notes to go up for auction

A limited run of 1,000 commemorative bank notes celebrating the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be up for purchase via the eBay Star Wars shop from 7th December with a further 50 premium notes going up for auction.

The special notes will be sold for one hundred pounds, and are approved and printed by De La Rue, the official UK banknote manufacturer.

Each note will feature prominent Star Wars imagery, and Star Wars elements built into the special features of UK note.  With Resistance, and First Order emblems built into the notes, hidden scenes only seen under special UV light, and be signed by Rian Johnson.

The notes were made under the Made GREAT in Britain initiative, a government scheme celebrating British products – including the Pinewood filmed The Last Jedi.  The special event is in aid of Together for Short Lives, a charity supporting children’s hospices for children with life-threatening or life-limiting conditions – part of the Star Wars: Force For Change initiative.
