LEGO Star Wars Creative Lead Jens Kronvold Frederiksen and Design Manager Michael Lee Stockwell recently spoke with Brick Fanatics and confirmed that the popular Battle Packs, absent from the January wave of sets, will indeed be returning somewhere down the line, possibly as soon as January 2022.

“This is something which is actually quite difficult to explain,” Jens said. “It is not always up to us what the range will contain or which products are required on shelves. Omitting the battle packs during January was not a deliberate choice and is certainly not an indication that battle packs are dead or never going to happen again. We just did not launch any at that time.

“They will be back. They are absolutely not gone forever so LEGO Star Wars fans can rest easy!”
